Real People, Real Results

Every instructor is a practicing hypnotherapist

Grounded in lived, clinical experience

Driven by compassion, clarity, and a commitment to meaningful, lasting change.

I’m Christophe Courtin, a hypnotherapist, trainer, and supervisor.

Before this, I spent over 20 years working in IT, with a background in engineering. Most of my roles involved supporting people, whether that meant helping them understand systems, manage change, or just make things work more smoothly. At the same time, I’ve been teaching Aikido for over two decades, which taught me a lot about focus, connection, and encouraging people to grow.

My path into hypnotherapy wasn’t a straight line. In my late 40s, after years of burnout and ongoing anxiety, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Things started to make more sense after that.

I’d tried a lot of different approaches over the years, but hypnotherapy was the thing that gave me a way to escape the anxiety trap I was in. It was powerful and it helped me work with my mind in a different way, and that shift led me to the work I do now.

As a JHA trainer, I teach people who want to change direction in their professional lives and do something that genuinely helps others. My approach is straightforward, down-to-earth, and focused on helping students feel confident and capable not just in theory, but in practice.

I run foundation and practitioner-level training, along with various workshops on issues such as anxiety, ADHD, and burnout.

At the heart of it, I want to improve people’s wellbeing, and by teaching others how to do the same, I hope to create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond the work I do alone.

Joanna Nowocień is a certified hypnotherapist, coach, and licensed trainer.

She supports people in creating lasting change by guiding them to work
with their mind—so they can live with more freedom, clarity, and self-trust.

After more than 20 years in corporate communication, she followed her passion for helping others and began a new chapter as a therapist and personal development guide. Her work is grounded in empathy, deep listening, and the belief that change is possible at any stage of life.

Joanna is also a communication trainer in the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) approach and a psychodietetics specialist, helping people transform their relationships with food and body through both compassion and practical tools.

She resonates deeply with Zygmunt Bauman’s words:
“We must believe in our ability to bring about change—not only in our own lives, but also in the world we live in. We must believe that we are all artists, capable of creating and shaping things—and that we ourselves can be a work of art born out of that very act.”

This vision—of life as something we can shape consciously—is at the heart of everything she teaches and practices.

I’m Luigi Saurabh Xuereb, a hypnotherapist, trainer, and transformation coach.

I'm committed to helping people break through their limits and live with greater purpose and vitality.

My journey began in the luxury hospitality industry, where I developed a deep passion for human connection and leadership. Alongside this, I immersed myself in martial arts from the age of 12, eventually training in China, Japan, and Tibet, where I encountered profound teachings on mind, body, and personal energy.

A life-altering accident became a turning point. It led me to explore the healing power of nature, adventure, and inner work — and ultimately to hypnosis. Hypnotherapy radically shifted how I understood change and helped me recover, grow, and guide others at a deeper level.

I teach hypnosis because it gives people direct access to their own power. What excites me about JHA’s approach is its clarity, practicality, and ability to create real, embodied change. I bring a unique blend of breathwork, movement, and meditation to my training style, drawing from my background in therapy, martial arts, and yoga.

As a JHA Trainer, I love working with curious, growth-minded students one-to-one helping them to achieve their hypnosis, therapeutic and business goals. My mission is to create space for people to rediscover who they are and step into their full potential.

I’m Helen Wyer — a hypnotherapist, coach, and instructor.

I have a background in education, a passion for helping people grow, and a love for horses, travel, and learning of all kinds.

Before training as a hypnotherapist in 2018, I spent years teaching and mentoring new teachers — an experience that shaped my deep belief in connection, encouragement, and personalised learning. Whether working with students or clients, I’m driven by the same ethos: everyone can grow with the right support, clarity, and commitment.

When I launched Advance Hypnotherapy, I began with a broad focus — but my niche soon found me. More and more people came to me with anxiety, trauma, and the physical symptoms that often come with them, including IBS. That area of my practice has grown beyond my wildest expectations, and I now work with clients across the UK and around the world, both online and face to face in Suffolk.

I’m accredited by the GHR and CNHC and act as a local CNHC ambassador, often consulted by NHS professionals for my work in the IBS space.

As a JHA-trained instructor, I bring my teaching background into every course I deliver. I believe in breaking things down clearly, giving plenty of time to practise, and creating a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere — so students feel confident from the very start.
