I have a friend who is also a client. she has lung cancer in both lungs and has been told by the doctor the pain is superfluous and can be approached with hypnosis. She is 78 and has sepsis before so she knows what serious pain feels like. she texted me saying the pain had jumped quickly to an unbearable state. I travelled over to her home to find her crying in pain in her front room. she couldn't move of keep still without it troubling her immensely. She was in no state to begin any procedures, so after a few minutes of chat I took her on a journey through different parts of her body. "Examine your left little finger, feel the parts that touch your leather couch, feel the air and temperature, the texture of your trousers on that finger etc. after moving randomly through different areas she had calmed down and the pain was an 8. at this point i proceeded to the Arrow technique, normally i would have induced a trance, performed an NLP visualisation pattern that removed the pain but left signals that could be understood, and taught her to go into third person spontaneously. SUDS test after the technique returned a 0 to 1, and she's been pain-free for over a week now. What a nice technique, much appreciated.

I did my first Arrow Technique on a recording for a client who had recently had major surgery. After a short induction (she has seen me for several issues and is extremely hypnotisable) I went through the Arrow Technique with the condition that providing the pain was not a signal for any warnings and for her to continue with her convalescence as instructed by her doctor. The result was that she had her first night of continuous sleep in four weeks since her operation.

As a full time Hypnotherapist using The Arrow as a mainstay of my hypnotic changework, I have become accustomed to the seeming miraculous results this process allows me to witness, day after day after day. I no longer post every amazing result I see my clients create. Yet today was rather special. A woman in her late 70s is wheeled into the room. 3 years ago she suffered a stroke yet made an amazing recovery and was walking unassisted without the aid of a walking stick or mobility frame. Alas, 3 separate falls since had undermined her confidence and mobility so that -at best- she was able to mobilize only with a stick or else a wheelchair. Today, after her first session with The Arrow (with 'only all the unnecessary fear' in the target) she walked unaided and unassisted from her chair in my therapy room all the way out to her car over 30m away. First arrow shot today. My guinea pig was friend with bad neck ache (8/10), hangover (forgot to measure) and bad back (3/10 today). After the arrow, neck pain was gone, hangover was gone, and the back pain was barely 1/10. His reaction was: "How the f### did you do that?!" (I insisted he's the one who did it). He's very pleased and so am I. Thank you Mr Jacquin! Had another bulls-eye! A client came to see me for an addiction issue. After the pretalk, I invited her to sit on the comfier recliner chair. She couldn't get comfortable and she said it was because she has chronically painful knees due to fibromyalgia. "Nothing I can do about it". When I offer to get rid of it so it doesn't get in the way, she looked incredulous but said "why the hell not!" Went from 8/10 pain to nothing within 5 minutes, she could barely believe it. This not only eliminated the pain but also any doubts about hypnosis. Doing part therapy for her addiction was a doddle and she went very deep with great results. Thanks again Freddy Jacquin!
